Republicans do not believe in oversight of business for fair practices - they believe in "let the buyer beware". Still, Democrats are always better on these issues than republicans - if for no other reason that to deprive republicans of big business money...in the same way Republicans try to break unions and attorneys. Work for change. Trouble is, I think Edwards is the only one taking up the issues of the consumer, and the smear machine has already got him.
