Her second shot WORKED. She and Teddy Kennedy brought us SCHIP
which is what the Dems REALLY intend for health care–which is UHC–not through insurers as she’s saying now.
Remember SCHIP was supposedly for the “poor” children, but in the most recent battle over funding when Bush offered $5 BILLION MORE he was called a hateful SOB who didn’t want poor kids to have insurance. Why? Because the Dems wanted $35BILLION more so they could ADD adults through 25 AND ADD kids, 85% of whom were ALREADY PRIVATELY INSURED to the government rolls.
Will her THIRD plan get through? Nope, she needs Congress to go along with her. However, there is a fourth plan waiting in the wings–EVERYONE on government health, which is CLEARLY the goal if you read what she’s proposed and what she’s achieved.

Precisely , Hillary can’t stand for change when she could of made changes in health care reform and failed to gain support. Will all of congress be supportive of her and be intimidated by her when she ” demands” they vote or support certain bills. They will be like come on Hillary stop PMS ing. America is not ready for having a female for president. I am not racist nor nothing but it is all about timing. The Whitehouse needs someone who can be respected. There is a group of Repubicans that don’t respect Hillary but laugh at her.How strong will her Political will really be? Obama on the other hand is penetrating some Republican circles and actually gaining some support in some Repub circles. See the difference in political will power?
It works in other country’s so why not here,,,maybe cause Americans are not as good as the rest of the world at things like that,,,war drums we can give lickings to anyone on,,but health care,,,,Obama has a better plan but hill will deal it too….GO BLUE,,chow F.P
She’s toned it done a little. My guess she’s accepted some money from the health care industry. So her proposal will be some sort of hybrid of government assisted and free market.
I don’t like to see my neighbor file for bankruptcy because of his medical bills. Most Western countries guarantee health care for every man, woman, and child.
The US pays more for its health system, but is rated #37. The life expectancy of a French citizen is three years longer than a US citizen.
If she fails, it will be because of the neo-cons. Remember that 100s of thousands of people died in the tsunami in Asia because an early alert system was blocked by the conservatives in congress because they didn’t want Al Gore to have a success story about this program.
That’s not compassionate conservativism.
