When he was alive, you rarely heard any of his songs on the radio. And when you heard people talking about him it was usually as a joke about his plastic surgeries or his alleged child molesting.
I guess it’s true what my Grandpa said,” When you die, suddenly everybody is your best friend.”

I don’t. I think he was a super talented guy who should’ve been castrated or in prison for ruining the lives of a bunch of little boys.
But now he’s a martyr.
Truth be told, you rarely hear his songs on the radio because he hasn’t made any music worth listening to since “Scream” in 1995. He’s not new or relevant right now. But that doesn’t mean he didn’t make some kickin’ music in the 80s. Still, I can’t get behind this whole movement to revere him as if he were a saint. Acquitted or not, I believe he did terrible things to people.
I do not agree with your statement that everyone loves him now he has died they don’t, and didn’t, what would have been a more dignified remembrance of this person was less of the =mass hysteria= that followed the demise announcement, sickening to see grown up people actually crying over someone they had never met, thousands of miles away and with a life style that denied credibility
His death served as a reminder for the awesome songs and legacy he created. I’ve been listening to loads of MJ since he died, it’s seriously such good stuff. Honestly, he turned into a pretty bizarre dude, but whatever he did or didn’t do makes no difference to me; he was badass, and deserves respect.
Just because people thought he was weird doesn’t mean they didn’t admire him as an artist. Everyone is playing his songs right now as a tribute to his life; they are remembering the good things he’s done. It’s like Elvis: you remember him for Hound Dog and Viva Las Vegas more so than his fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
I thought the same thing when he died. The media is going to talk about him for days. I wish his kids well, its not there fault what ever bad stuff people may say. I still remember how happy he was when he was showing off one of his kids.
he was a very significant musician and people are more frequently playing his music to commemorate him. I dont think his death will really change what a lot of people’s opinions are about him, but he will be missed by many
