Do you have children that play with/collect these toys?
My daughter just turned ten and she loves them. She wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up, and I guess that is part of the reason why she likes the little pets so much.
She has 154 of them (different ones, she also has several more that are duplicates) and all sorts of toys and accessories that go with them. My husband jokes that we are going to have to add on to the house for them.
The newer versions are out now, and she likes them-she likes all of them. I am kind of irritated, because it seems to me like they just changed one minor thing (the eyes) in order to sell more products without actually creating anything new.

We were at WalMart today and they were handing out posters, stickers and tattoos of LPS. My girls love them too!
They are so cute! Heck I play with them too lol. Yes our lil 3 year old is an animal lover and you have to love all the accessories and the lil magnet on the bottom to do tricks. There is a line though, I was tempted to get her more for Christmas but really our house is small and building on is not an option so we have to be happy with what we have.
We also have a set called Precious Places they are from my child hood and she loves those as well. You have humans that you move around on a path with the key (has a magnet on the bottom. Fun stuff
Both of my neices & my youngest sister have these. They love them!
