This Question From Quick Jokes | 3 Answers
Ok, well I’ve known this girl for about three years, never really talked to her and she never really talked to me as we ride the same bus to and from school. Anyways, I finally started talking to her, because she wasn’t around her friends, and the people around her were my friends and that I joke around with that are girls.
I’m a guy by the way and I want to get to know her….
Anyways, so back to the main issue/question, when I joke around, I usually make fun of myself or pick out a point and boast about myself to a point where girls laugh. I was doing this with a few other girls and the girl I NOW like happened to be one of them, and she was laughing and asking me questions and things like that.
I learned that from personal experience and having friends that joke around, that jokes seem to break the ice between people, and for each other to get to know each other more and eventually develop a friendship and so on.
What my main question is, what do I do? I get nervous and don’t want to talk to her when she is around her friends cause I don’t know what to talk about.
So should I just talk to her on the bus cause I don’t have any classes with her, and should I just tell some jokes that she will find funny *hoping so*?
And if so, can anybody tell me QUICK Jokes, as to ones that have short like ten words instead of a five paragraph essay? This would be greatly appreciated and the more the better, also any advice would be great. Thanks!

and honestly, if you just want to get to know her, i would talk to her on the bus, and then when you guys get more comfortable with each other, then you can talk to her with her friends around her…just a thought….and you may not want to just tell jokes…notice a book shes reading or a movie that she has on her shirt or something, and if your interesed in it (don’t fake interest, she’ll ask you questions about it and you don’t want to look fake) talk with her about it…lol, i am a girl, but most of my friends are guys…so i guess i’m used to it, but lol…you shold be fine, just talk to her!
well dont do the “thats what she said” jokes because most girls i know hate them [i personally find them hilarious] but you dont want to take a chance….
