This Question From Surgery Jokes | 9 Answers
I’m male. 32 years old. Have these f…g dark circles since I was 14 or something. No matter I sleep enough or not – they are always there.
Tried almost all circle erasers. Lost was Hylexin. Non of them are working.
I heard that there is some surgery to remove them. How do you call it and where I can get this surgery in San Francisco? Please, help, many people make jokes of me because of these damn circles !!!

Oh, how I can relate! Same thing -pretty much my whole life. My son in 12 years old and he has had them since he was a baby! People who meet him for the first time often think he is ill or very fatigued!
I had a cosmetician tell me years ago – that it is likely genetic (for people like us, who have had it for years).
There are a number of very new cosmetic products out there (designed for women-but I don’t see why they can’t be used by men) that reduce the appearance of the dark circles under the eyes. The best I’ve used for the last 9 months is a Clinique product called Intensive Eye Wear (try Sears or at high-end dept stores); just dab the cream around the eye area 1-2 times a day (it’s clear, no coloring). I found it took a couple of weeks until I saw results – but it was significant. It is pricey -but it would be way less than surgery! I am also trying a product made by Neutrogena Corp called “Radiance Boost” with claims that it “reduces the appearance of dark circles & puffiness”. It seems great, too. Other cosmetic companies have their comparable products. I would consider trying it out for yourself. These very new products really do work – although you may have to wait for results – you won’t get change in 1 or 2 days!
I suggest you check out this page, it seemed helpful enough. Has info about Dark Eye Circles And the surgery you can undergo.

ooo i want to know about the answer to this too =) please let me know after u check it up.
you need not undergo surgery for dark circles
Circles under the eyes could be attributed to a number of different things. If you haven’t already, I would talk to a general practitioner. Apparently, it isn’t sleep related. So, it could be diet, drugs, genetics, or something else. I would check out all other options before subjecting myself to any kind of surgery. Good luck:-)
