When siblings are closer in age, one good thing, like you mentioned, is that you can get the diaper phases/potty training over-with at about the same time, but also, because they are closer in age, the siblings would be more likely to agree and not fight over things all the time, and it would reduce the chances of jealousy between the siblings, like for example, a younger sibling being jealous of the older one because the older one can do something that the other can’t, and vice versa.

Nah. You can’t take NAPS anymore, but that’s about it. I was scared I’d ignore the toddler to take care of the baby. Turned out that nursing the baby was a godsend. Plug her in, keep playing blocks with the toddler or reading to him. It really kept the baby happy and quiet while I could keep my attention on the toddler. They got along great…until the “toddler” turned into a twelve year old boy who thinks he’s too cool for his little sister now.

because most do not want things to go well for others.. I tell them how easy my daughter was when she was little, slept, ate well, loved going place.. and they call me a liar or I must be remembering it wrong. “no baby is that easy.”
they don’t want you to have an easy time.. Misery loves company remember..

No, that is a good mind state. Good luck. Everything will be great.
