I live in Canada also and I agree, out health care system is a joke. I had to wait 8 months before I got an appointment for an initial appointment with a psychiatrist. Even my family doctor told me that waiting 8 months was unacceptable. But if you really want help, and if you can't wait until November 10th. Go to the hospital emergency room and tell them that you're suicidal and that you plan on killing yourself. Tell them that you need someone to talk to and there's a wait, and that you can't wait anymore. And that it is unbearable. And trust me, you'll see a doctor right away and they'll offer you all kinds of services. I went to the emergency last Tuesday and there was a wait of about 10 hours and when I saw the nurse, I told her I had all my pills on me and ready to kill myself and I saw a doctor about 10 minutes later.
